Four Cutting Effects of grid

As we all know, filter grids can make images clearer and absorb scattered rays. They are mainly used in chest racks and X-ray machines. Now let’s look at the four cutting effects of filter grids.

(1) upside-down grid: the midline part of the picture shows density, while the rest shows no density.
(2) Off-level grid or off-center grid: There are two cases of side-inclined grid focal length. One is that the photographic distance is the same as the grating focal length, but the focus of the X-ray tube deviates from the focus line (or focus line) to one side; the other is that the photographic distance is the same as the grating focal length, while the grating plane is not perpendicular to the X-ray central line bundle and inclines to one side. At this time, the grid lead bar cuts the same amount of raw rays, resulting in a uniformly reduced image density. Generally, it is difficult to distinguish from photographic images, which is mistaken for the inadequacy of X-ray photographic conditions.
