How to use and place the grid correctly?

Everyone knows that the main function of the wire grid is to filter out scattered rays and improve image quality. So how should we use and place it to correctly play the role of the grid to filter out the scattered rays and improve the image quality? Let’s take a look at it.
Wire grids should be standardized when used, otherwise they will not be able to filter out scattered rays and fail to achieve the purpose of use.
The grid is divided into front and back sides. The front is the focal plane, and the focal plane is the focal plane, which is understood literally, that is, the side facing the focal point of the X-ray tube, that is, the side with the convergence line. When placing the grid, be sure to pay attention to the focus surface facing the X-ray incident direction. The opposite side of the focal plane is called the back focal plane. Pay attention to the X-ray irradiation direction during exposure. On the basis of not deviating from the center line of the grid, the X-ray center line can be tilted at a certain angle according to the tilt direction of the lead bar to make the X-ray radiation direction consistent with the lead bar direction. This can ensure that the maximum amount of the original emission line passes through the wire grid to ensure the quality of the image.
When placing the grid, pay attention to the focus surface facing the X-ray emission direction, place it in the incident direction of the human body and the X-ray, and not deviate from the center line of the grid, so that the X-ray radiation direction can be in line with the direction of the lead strip. The original emission line can pass through the same horizontal line to the greatest extent, and because the scattered line has different directions and disorder, it can well absorb the scattered line and improve the image quality.
Generally, there are labels on the grid. The easiest way is to label one side on the front side and the other side on the reverse side. The literally upward part is the upper part, and the downward part is the lower part.
Having said all that, will everyone use the grid correctly?
