Influence of x ray grid on filter artifact

Five factors affecting the artifacts of x ray grid are: x ray grid, detector, monitor, compression ratio of display and human body.
For the filter grating, if the artifacts of the x ray grid are to be eliminated without changing other factors, only by changing the density of the x ray grid can the moire lines be eliminated effectively.
There are three ways to change: one is to make the strain of the gate density smaller, so that the spatial frequency of the filter grating is far less than that of the detector and the monitor. Obviously, this method is impractical. The second method makes the spatial frequency of the x ray grid an integer multiple of the detector. For example, for GE DR, the resolution of the detector is 200 um, equivalent to the spatial frequency of 5 Lines/mm, if the spatial variation rate of the x ray grid is 5 lines/mm, 10 lines/mm and 15 lines/mm. In the detector’s view, the spatial frequency of the filter grating is always 5lines/mm. There is no frequency difference between them, so the moire lines can not be produced. For the x ray grid whose spatial frequencies are 5lines/mm and 110lines/mm, the corresponding gate densities are salines/cm and 100lines/cm. The third way is to use shock x ray grid.
