The grid is made of lead foil (ie thin lead strips with a thickness of 0.05-0.1 mm) at a certain distance (0.15-0.35 mm) arranged in parallel or at a certain inclination. The lead strips are made of aluminum that can pass X-rays. The paper or wood strip is fixed and the two sides are supplemented with a protective layer of aluminum or synthetic resin.
