Do I need to compensate for exposure conditions when using a wire grid when filming?

There is no need to compensate for the exposure conditions when using the grid during filming. Since the main material of the grid is lead foil, it not only blocks the scattered rays, but also inevitably blocks a part of the original emission line, which reduces to a certain extent. The degree of sensitivity of the film, therefore, the exposure conditions should be appropriately increased compared with the use of grids during photography, that is, by increasing the tube voltage to improve the penetration ability of X-rays, in order to achieve the purpose of compensation. Specific compensation data should be obtained in conjunction with clinical use.
In general, low grid ratio grids are suitable for low kV tube voltages; high grid ratios are suitable for high kV tube voltages.
