How should we choose the x ray grid correctly
When selecting an X-ray grid, it is essential to choose the proper grid ratio strictly according to the KV value of the X-ray radiation. High KV X-rays require matching high grid ratio X-ray grids, so it is inappropriate and unprofessional to blindly opt for high-density X-ray grids without referring to actual KV parameters.
The reasonable selection of an X-ray grid mainly depends on three key factors: X-ray energy output, the body thickness of the irradiated object, and the actual size of the radiation field.
The core selection principle follows a clear matching rule: high KV radiation should be paired with a high grid ratio X-ray grid. For working voltage below 90 KV, it is recommended to adopt an X-ray grid with a grid ratio higher than 10:1; while for working voltage above 90 KV, an X-ray grid with a grid ratio lower than 8:1 is more suitable for optimal imaging effect.

The common x ray grid in the market are regular DR, and the line density commonly used on the C arm is the 60LP/CM x ray grid.
