Types and functions of X-ray grids

Everyone is familiar with the term X-ray grid, so what exactly is an X-ray grid? Do you all know what role the X-ray grid plays in imaging? Today, the editor will explain to you some knowledge of X-ray grid:
The main function of the X-ray grid is to filter out messy scattered rays. X-ray scattered rays are due to the fact that when X-rays pass through the human body, a part of the body’s tissues has a special effect, which causes the original X-rays to change the propagation direction and form rays with different propagation directions called X-ray scattered rays.
There are many types of X-ray grids. According to their structure, they can be divided into three types: parallel grid, cross grid, and focus grid. At present, the most widely used X-ray grid on the market is the focus grid. The structural features of the three types of X-ray grids are parallel grids: the lead bars are arranged along the longitudinal axis and are parallel to each other. Crossing grid: It is composed of two layers of parallel grids intersecting, and the crossing angle is 90°. Focus grid: The lead bars are inclined at a certain angle and finally their extension lines meet together.
