Firstly, it is necessary to determine the size of the grid cutoff x ray: the common grid cutoff x ray size is 15*18 feet and 18*18 feet, corresponding to 14*17 feet and 17*17 feet of flat panel detector respectively, and the film cassette or THE IP board of CR can be selected.
Secondly, the grid ratio of the grid cutoff x ray shall be determined: the grid ratio of thegrid cutoff x ray shall be selected according to the high and low voltage of the tube. When the bulb tube voltage is higher than 90KV, the grid cutoff x ray with a grid ratio of 10:1 and above shall be selected; when the voltage of the bulb tube is lower than 90KV, the grid cutoff x ray with a grid ratio of less than 8:1 shall be selected.
