Due to the scattering characteristics of X-rays, in daily DR inspections, we will use the DR grid tool. The DR grid is located between the human body and the detector, which can filter out most of the scattered rays.
Features of DR grid:
(1) The application of high-purity lead in the grid provides high efficiency in anti-scattering.
(2) The accurate combination of aluminum base and aluminum strip makes high-quality images possible.
(3) The lead grid is wrapped with a smooth aluminum cover and enamel is applied to protect the grid from heat and dust, and to avoid the pain of maintenance for many years.
DR grid: used to filter out the influence of scattered rays on the film. Should be placed between the human body and the film, most of the scattered rays can be filtered out, and only a small part of the scattered rays can be leaked.
The DR grid can improve the filming quality of X-ray machine medical equipment. The function of the wire grid is to filter the scattered rays, reduce the fog and improve the contrast. In the case where the thickness and density of the object being photographed is relatively large, the use of a grid can improve the quality of the film. It is recommended to use the DR grid for filming with a high-frequency machine, and the effect will be better.
