When to use X-ray grid

The X-ray grid is used to filter out the influence of scattered rays on the film. It should be placed between the human body and the film. Most of the scattered rays can be filtered out, and only a small part of the scattered rays are leaked.
The X-ray grid can improve the film quality of X-ray machine medical equipment, filter scattered rays, reduce fog and improve contrast.
When the thickness and density of the object to be photographed is relatively large, the X-ray grid is used to improve the quality of the film. If the body thickness exceeds 15cm and the KV exceeds 60KV, X-ray grids are used in principle.
